Bridle-less Horseback Riding

I am NOT back yet…I just popped in to say “thank you so very much” to my faithful readers friends who have left their well-wishes and comments. Please accept this as my reply to each and every one of you as i must type one-handed and it is extremely hard, uncomfortable, and tiring! Hope to be back soon.

I wanted to share the following with you:

This is amazing. I love horses and used to ride. Many times would ride bareback but only rarely did we ride without a bridle. I’m sure this takes extreme training, rider control, and a faithful, trusting horse.

   I first saw this video on Behind the Bit and it brought me to tears. I would love so very much to have this special relationship with a horse. It inspired me to search for the perfect horse, which I found several weeks after watching the video. We aren’t Stacy Westfall material, nor will we ever be, but it is an inspiration that keeps me working towards the goal.
