Medical Leave of Absence

To all my friends: I must take what, hopefully, will be a short break from blogging as I am to have surgery tomorrow to repair a full thickness tear in my rotator cuff. It will be performed as an outpatient surgery and I will be home by noon tomorrow. However, I will be in a very large and reportedly uncomfortable sling for a month. I’m thinking that sitting at my computer for long periods of time will be impossible during that time. I was discouraged to also learn that full recovery with proper physical therapy could take six months…sigh.

A couple of the members of the Whole Hog Blog Community, of which I am a grateful member, have offered to help all they can. I also will be be posting a few videos and ebooks of craft interest in the interim.

My daughter has offered to help by not only taking care of me, but by dropping as many EC’s as time will permit.

I must also offer my gratitude to all the EC droppers and commenters on my blog. And, offer an apology to my top droppers. I have been unable to access my statistics located on the EC dashboard for the last 3+ months! I have written several times complaining about the problem, but have received no reply. I do not know any other way of determining who my top droppers were without it. If any of you have any suggestions as to where to locate this information, I would be very grateful!

   Best of luck on your surgery. Make sure you get pain meds, even if you “think” you can handle it. I had a bone spur removed from my shoulder. The first few days are pretty harsh. My surgery was about 10 years ago. A friend had rotator cuff surgery 2 years ago. They gave her this fabulous cooling unit to keep the shoulder iced up after surgery.

    I too had an issue with not being able to connect with my stats for a few weeks…I sent in an error report…did not get anything but an auto reply…then a couple of days later…I could connect.
    So just keep trying!

    Good luck and all the best. Take your pain meds and do the physical therapy. It will take AT LEAST 6 months to get better – at least they were more honest than my DH’s surgeon who said 6 weeks!

    I encountered this problem for two weeks now. I thought it was my pc had a problems but as i rounds to bloggers we’re not alone having this difficulties on EC. some told me that they’re leaving Ec for good. I don’t know what to do anymore. I owe a lot from EC to meet most friends bloggers they even fixed my problem having two registered blogs in one email but this latest I felt they just ignored or may they themselves don’t know about it .
