I Want One of These!

Cherry Mantle

I read in our local paper about a new
Amish invention to help home heating bills hit rock bottom! Imagine that! It only uses about $.08 worth of electricity per hour! It rolls anywhere to have instant heat with no chimney, no vents, no wood and no smoke! It also has earned the Good Housekeeping Seal of Approval.

The mantles are genuinely made by the Amish in the USA and entire Amish communities are working from the crack of dawn every day to finish. The real wood mantles are built to last forever.

The oak mantle and insert sells for $547 and the cherry mantle and insert sells for $587. The insert can be purchased alone (no mantle) at a cost of $249. The insert works perfectly as a fireplace insert or as a free standing heater. All are fully assembled and delivered to your door.

I think this would be a fantastic heat source for our basement or to an area in anyone’s home which has a tendency to be on the cool side.

  5. Hi Ivanhoe :o ), good to see you. I just checked our temp. and it’s -5…YIKES. I really NEED one of those heaters today. OUR FURNACE WENT OUT THIS MORNING!!! We have 4 small electric heaters, a dual fireplace and an electric stove…we can keep warm until our furnace man gets here this afternoon. Thanks for commenting. “See” you soon.

  6. This is really nice. I like it. Not only looks good, but sounds like a good source of heat. Hmmm, I’ll have to look into that for my writers studio. I have a nice heater out here now, but they only seem to last a couple years. One winter season really.
We use our woodburning stove a lot in the house, in addition to regular heat.
Stay warm! Hope that furnace is fixed fast! WHY do they always break when it’s the coldest.

  9. TERRI: We normally stay very comfortable in our home. However, the basement is set up for a playroom for the grandchildren and it gets a bit chilly down there. I usually make them wear sweatshirts. Not really uncomfortable, but I like them to be warm. Thanks for commenting. “See” you soon.

LINDA: I think they look like they’d be a nice fixture in any room. Our basement is chilly and I have just the spot to put it…if I can just convince my hubby! Thanks for the comment.

CHRIS: Thanks for the info. I will add it to the post so people can take advantage of the additional information. Thank you for commenting!

  12. These are WONDERFUL! My inlaws has one as a portable heater. It looks great and used hardly any energy as it warms the room. So cozy looking also. There’s was from the Amish also.
