Feisty Little Rupert (Update)

IN MEMORY

I am saddened to have to report that our little Rupert has passed away. And it disturbs me immensely that he had left this life prior to my original post about him. So, please forgive me for that and I will make every effort to avoid making that mistake again!

I am VERY thorough about checking articles or rumors or anything that comes to me by email, but the story of this little fellow was so touching, that I immediately wanted to share it with everyone!

Staff members at the Tiggywinkles Wildlife Hospital in Haddenham, England said they tried to keep him alive by giving him lamb’s milk, but he needed nutrients from his mom—plus, the fact that he was three weeks premature made his survival less likely.

It’s with a heavy heart that I say “Goodbye little guy”.

  1. Hi Judy,

Well, the story was well worth sharing anyway. He was just
amazing in his short little life. You helped him share his little spirit. This is very sad..he was here long enough to be missed!

  3. How sad! I was just telling my husband about how cute this little guy was. But I do appreciate you sharing the story… to know that he lived long enough to bring happiness to all who saw his story is a consolation.
